Quality Policy


At OT, Quality is more than a buzzword, it is a priority! The very essence of its management, manpower, machinery and manufacturing process is to deliver quality. We are an ISO certified company and our QMS follows stringent norms to ensure that quality is produced in processes, product and service.

Quality Control

Over the years, there has been a shift from conventional concept of the Quality being inspected to the Quality being produced. As such, each individual is responsible for delievering the right quality of output. This is facilitated by:

  • Clearly defining the responsibilities and authorities
  • Properly identifying the critical Processes, the Process Owners and the Process Measures
  • Periodically analyzing critical data, information, and Process results
  • Planning effective Corrective and Preventive actions, in a structured manner.

The Quality Control process begins with the receipt of the requirements from Customers and ends with delivering the goods and services to them, exactly as per their requirements. This process covers all the conventional aspects in product realization such as:

  • Development & selection of reliable vendors
  • Ensuring timely availability of proper resources
  • Provision of effective training
  • Verification of material, processes, and sub-assemblies
  • Testing and inspection of the finished product

Integrated Management Systems (IMS Policy)

  • Design, Manufacture and Deliver Transformers, Switchgear, Ancillary Products and Services, which consistently meet and exceed customer’s requirements and expectations.
  • Maintain and continually improve our Integrated Management Systems, so as to ensure conformance to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Render quality products and services by continuously upgrading our skills, resources and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a continuous vigil of our process operations with a focus to minimize environmental pollution, conserve utilization of resources and reduce waste.
  • Instill and continually develop a safe and healthy culture within our organization, thus necessitating the prevention of injury and illness, to employees, contractors, or persons affected by our activities.
